Courses for Implant Placement and Restoration

Synopsis:

  • Indications pour minis-implants
  • Minis-implants vs implants conventionnels
  • Planification de cas
  • Technique prothétique directe et indirecte
  • Partiels et minis
  • Exercises pratique sur modèles

One-Day Seminar: Mini Dental Implant Placement

Courses for Implant placement and restoration Small Diameter Implants are the ideal alternative for patients who are not candidates for conventional implants or cannot afford them. This less invasive technique is the perfect solution for patients seeking Denture Stabilization as well as Crown and Bridge replacement or missing Maxillary Laterals and Mandibular Incisors.

The focus of this course will be how to expand Mini Implant Treatment Options with OCO Biomedical Small Diameter Implants. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about a simple, cost-effective system.

Course Outline:

  • Indications for Mini Implants, Case Planning
  • Extractions & Immediate MDI Placement
  • Utilizing MDI’s for a Palate Free Denture
  • Implementing MDI’s for congenitally missing laterals
  • Hands-on on models

One-Day Seminar: Mini Dental Implants + PRGF

Small diameter implants placed with flapless surgery to support pre-existing conventional dentures present an alternative method of restoring patients with atrophic mandibles Courses for Implant placement and restoration Small Diameter Implants are the ideal alternative for patients who are not candidates for conventional implants or cannot afford them. One-Day Seminar: PRGF + Navident

Immediate Implant Placement in Deficient Bone Sites

The presence of a low-lying sinus floor and inadequate bone volume often precludes the successful placement of implants. This method consists of the following steps:

Course outline:

  • Extraction of the tooth
  • Immediate crestal approach sinus graft using Osbone® synthetic bone particles and plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF)
  • Immediate implant placement
  • Particulate bone grafting in conjunction with the use of PRGF
  • Three to four months of healing
  • Attachment of final prosthesis

Navident

A practical image-guided navigation system for dental implantology. Surgeons view in real time the advance of the drill tip and its exact position depth and angulation. Dental surgery is among the most precise surgeries performed today, having small margin of error for ideal position, depth and angulation of implant placement. Navident allows for minimally invasive techniques which may lead to smaller incisions, less post operative pain and swelling, decreased recovery time, less blood.

One-Day Course: Atraumatic Extraction & Socket Grafting
Course Instructor: Dr. Raj Chopra

The course objective is to provide the dental practitioner the didactic and surgical information required to atraumatically extract teeth and successfully regenerate bone into the tooth sockets immediately after removal.

Course Outline:

  • Diagnose & treatment plan for successful atraumatic extraction of teeth
  • Provide a foundational knowledge of "bone products"
  • Understanding basic general surgical principles
  • Understanding the "What", "When", "Where" and "How" of bone and soft tissue grafting
